Dr. Streetman is a board-certified general surgeon who is a native of Hurtsboro, Alabama, and graduated from Lee Scott Academy in Auburn. He then earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Alabama –Birmingham where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Sigma, Golden Key and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Societies.

Dr. Streetman received his medical degree from the University Of Alabama - Birmingham School of Medicine where he received three scholarships: Hayne Kendrick Medical Scholarship, Maiben Cammack Medical Scholarship and the J.P. Newsome Medical Scholarship. He completed his general surgery residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Mercer School of Medicine and his minimally invasive surgery fellowship from Surgeons Group of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
