Dr. Chance received her medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and completed her internship and residency at Medical College of Georgia. A board certified member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, Dr. Chance also holds membership with the Society of Hospital Medicine. Her clinical interests include geriatrics and heart disease prevention.

Dr. Chance was recognized with the 2011 Award for Excellence in Patient Satisfaction for Prattville Baptist Hospital. A 2012 Central Regional “Hospital Heroes” Physician Honoree for the Alabama Hospital Association, Dr. Chance also served as Chief of Staff at Prattville Baptist Hospital.

The proud parents of four children, Dr. Chance and her husband Joel enjoy spending time with family, including her parents who also call Prattville home. In her spare time, Dr. Chance enjoys hiking, boating, scuba diving and reading. Her newest interests include learning the basics of gardening and propagating plants from cuttings.
