Dr. Pankil Doshi earned his medical degree from the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) College of Medicine in Vigan City, Philippines. 

Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Doshi is no stranger to Central Alabama, as he completed his residency at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program located in Montgomery, Alabama. While in residency, he was named Chief Resident and received the Academic Excellence Award. His clinical interests and special procedures include joint injections, trigger point injections, incision and drainage (I&D), skin tag removal, cryosurgery, skin biopsies and more. Additional interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute care management and patient education with a focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle and improving long-term health outcomes. 

He is proud member of the American Board of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Medical Council of India. 

Dr. Doshi’s hobbies include Ping-Pong, Cricket, Chess and Poker as well as traveling with his wife, also a primary care physician within Baptist Health. 

His favorite quote he lives by is, “Prevention today, creates a healthier tomorrow.”
