Dr. Ninh Doan received his medical degree and PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics from The University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Doan then completed a basic-science fellowship for Development in Nanotechnology Therapy for Brain Tumors at Northwestern University. He went on to complete an internship and residency in Neurosurgery at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Doan is boardeligible. He is a proud member of the American Association of Neurological Surgery and Congress of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Doan specializes in all aspects of neurological diseases, including brain tumors, spinal diseases, trigeminal neuralgia, etc. He is also extensively trained in brain tumors as well as traumatic brain and spinal injuries. Dr. Doan has received multiple NIH, Foundation and Institutional Research grants for studying brain tumors.

Dr. Doan is thrilled to be joining a team who is committed to bringing the latest advancements in neurosurgery to Central Alabama. Dr. Doan and his wife are the proud parents of three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
