Matthew Delk received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University Montgomery in Montgomery, Alabama and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Nursing in Birmingham, Alabama. He also has a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. 

Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, his special interests include addressing healthcare disparities in underserved and under-resourced communities locally, especially in the area of chronic care management. 

Married with three boys, Matthew enjoys duck hunting, professional baseball and football, as well as all things Auburn athletics (War Eagle!). 

His favorite quotes are ones to live by: “ As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” Proverbs 27:17 and “ Set your goals high, and don’t stop until you get there,” by Auburn alum, Bo Jackson.
