Dr. Burge received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed both, his residency and fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Health Center in Temple, Texas. Dr. Burge is a member of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Burge performs a wide scope of general surgery procedures, specializing in laparoscopies. An Alabama native, Dr. Burge is thrilled about returning to his home state to serve patients. Burge enjoys spending time outdoors; especially if it involves hunting or fishing. He also enjoys serving others on medical mission trips. He is currently accepting new patients.
