Heather is a certified, registered nurse practitioner in family medicine with over 20 years of diverse nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, her Masters of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Critical Care and Trauma from the University of California, San Francisco, and her Post-Masters in Family Practice from Troy University.

A member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, and Alabama State Nurses Association, Heather's clinical focuses are preventative medicine and women’s health. She has served for over two decades in the Air Force Reserves and currently serves as a member of the Alabama Air National Guard. Heather is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching college sports with her husband, who also serves our country in active-duty Air Force. They have two children and enjoy spending time as a family.
