Dr. F. Donovan Kendrick received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also completed a residency in Neurological Surgery. Dr. Kendrick is board-certified and a UAB Medicine Clinical Professor.

With nearly three decades worth of experience, Dr. Kendrick is highly-skilled in neurosurgical procedures. He focuses on adults and has a special interest in cervical and lumbar spine with emphasis on minimally invasive approaches, tumors, and cranial surgeries. Some of Dr. Kendrick’s procedures include, carpel tunnel repairs, laminectomies, craniotomies, subdural burr holes and ventricular peritoneal shunts.

Aside from his medical expertise, Dr. Kendrick is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to spend his free time at home on his farm. Whether that is hunting, fishing or taking care of his cattle and horses. He also enjoys singing, so much so, that he began his college career studying voice. A Montgomery native, Dr. Kendrick is proud to continue practicing in his hometown and serve his community.
