Dr. Folu Olufehinti received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados, and completed her residency at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program (MFMRP) in Montgomery, Alabama.
Board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, she has clinical interests in providing care for people of all ages and especially enjoys caring for pediatric patients. Dr. Olufehinti is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
While in undergraduate school at Bingham University in Abuja, Nigeria, Dr. Olufehinti received the “Best Graduating Student” honor as a Biochemistry student; was on the Dean’s List in Medical school, and received the Academic Excellence award during her residency.
As a faculty physician at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program, she looks forward to helping train and providing supervision for first, second, and third-year residents while also caring for the patients of Central Alabama.
Married with a young son, Dr. Olufehinti enjoys traveling with her family as well as going on mission trips and watching crime scene investigation shows.
