Originally from Montgomery, Amy earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1988. She worked as a Public Health Social Worker for five years before entering the Surgical Assistant Program at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating in 1995. Amy practiced as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine for two years before returning to Montgomery. In 1997 she joined Neurosurgery and Spine Associates of Central Alabama, P.C. as Physician Assistant to F. Donovan Kendrick, M.D.
