Frequently Asked Questions
Why did Baptist Health create the Care Partners brand and rename its practices?
Implementing the Baptist Health Care Partners name change signifies the next chapter for our group of practices and providers. Setting the course for continued innovation and advancement in healthcare, Baptist Health Care Partners will offer the same high-quality service our patients have come to expect and trust—but even better.
We call it a more connected kind of care. When you choose Baptist Health, you’ll benefit from our connection with Montgomery Cancer Center, Crossbridge Behavioral Health, Montgomery Surgical Center, and nearly 40 outpatient facilities offering advanced services in many specialties. Within the Baptist Health Care Partners family of services, we will bring deep clinical integration–meaning more coordinated care, and growth in providers and locations–providing more convenience to you and your family.
How will this change affect the care I receive?
This change does not affect the way we are structured or how we deliver care. Office locations will remain the same, and you will receive the same great care you have come to know and expect.
Can I still call the same number to reach my doctor?
We have great news! Now, all Care Partners providers can be reached by calling a single phone number: (334) 747-CARE (2273).
Has the Patient Portal changed?
Patients will still be able to access their portal accounts in the same manner they are used to.
Will I see a change on your website?
You will be able to find information about Baptist Health Care Partners locations and providers at BaptistCarePartners.org or BaptistFirst.org.
Where else might I notice a change?
Over the coming weeks, we will be rolling out our new brand and individual practice names, and you will begin to see the new branding appear in the form of office materials such as brochures and pamphlets, posters, and more. Our new brand identity will also be visible on Baptist Health Central Alabama's social media accounts. Be sure to follow us to stay updated on important group and health information.
